Health and safety - instant blade brake on circular saw

I know that this isn't gardening or landscaping equipment but I thought it so extraordinary that it was worth posting up on here.

Just imagine if this worked with chainsaws (kickback??) or hedge cutters etc.

I still cannot believe that this is real.
