Hayter LT324 steering unit

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone would know the Danfoss part number for a 324 steering unit...........I am a long way away from the machine at the moment and am trying to source the part.......I have the Hayter part no but I need the actual Danfoss no

    I tried to help on the other thread.
    So I'll make it as simple as I can.
    Check the steering ram first as the orbital steering unit is ultra reliable.
    My mate has worked on these big mowers for 20 years and only changed one due at a rollover!
    These units cost circa £750 so I would make sure the ram seal is not the culprit. When they go the machine does the not driving in a straight line thing!

    Yes Richard......thank you........simply put from my end........all seals checked and ok.......so......steering unit is knackered....unreliable after the seal kit has been fitted.......steering unit needed............just after the Danfoss numbers if anyone had them to hand before I'm back with the machine on Monday

      Not sure on numbers. Find black dog machinery on eBay he breaks these big mowers and may have a hayter in. You e been really unlucky there!
      Ask him if he can cross reference it with the Ransomes parkway as I know he is breaking one at the moment
