HAYTER 56 PRO ISSUES

Asked on forum many times I know - we are using new model Hayter 56 Pro's commercially, on the whole relatively happy but the non height adjustment handles are an issue with multiple operators of different statures, the other issue is build up of grass around gearbox and rear roller in damp conditions to the extent it jams the roller. We are sure this is a design issue as the discharge chute into the grass box doesn't block, the mowers have the modified blades, the RPM is correct, the grass boxes are regularly washed out and we are mowing every 5 days on a middle height setting, so not taking a lot of grass off in one cut. Been in touch with Hayter who apart from suggesting all the points I have noted have not been helpful and I quote - IN CERTAIN GRASS AND CLIMATIC CONDITIONS THE GRASS COLLECTION PERFORMANCE IS NOT ALWAYS MEETING CUSTOMERS EXPECTATIONS - I take this to mean that we know their is an issue but we will do our best to put the onus on putting the operator at fault.

Question - any other roller mowers that forum members use in the wet commercially that will work 7 days a week without reliability issues, have to acknowledge our Hayters have been 100% reliable, not even a snapped cable..
