Hardcore Rabbits eating bulbs

I need to pant dozens of various bulbs. But the customer who lives in the countryside has a rabbit and hare problem. And these critters are hardcore, will dig out the bulbs and eat them.

What can I plant to distract the critters from targeting the bulbs?

Putting wire mesh all around the plantings is going to look naff.

Any suggestions as to what works?

Thanks

  • We also have this problem is it possible to install a rabbit fence under an existing fence which is how we sorted it but before that we sprayed garlic which also worked but needed doing often.
