Blakedown Landscapes Operations are a leading, award winning landscaping contractor turning over £14m per annum across the UK. They currently have vacancies for CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN AND OPERATIVES to join their Midlands team with much of the work on sites across the East and West Midlands. Projects are typically £50,000 to £1.2m in value lasting 4 week to 12 months in duration.
Projects include hard landscaping with groundworks, soft landscaping and sport pitches working for councils, developers and building contractors. (see blakedownlandscapes.com for fuller details)
Typical hardworks/groundworks will include excavation, drainage, stoning up, kerbing, paving (natural stone and concrete) and street furniture. Soft landscaping includes topsoiling, tree and shrub planting, seeding/turfing and maintenance.
To be considered for the role you must hold a CSCS card and have significant experience constructing projects gained with a landscaping, groundworks or civils contractor. Experience of hard landscaping and CPCS cards would be a significant advantage.
