H & S - Accident Recording & Informing

Hi all, at last the sun is shinning here in Plymouth (lifts the soul). I am in the process of doing my Safecontrator accreditation and am using the opportunity to get my health and safety together and up to date. At present I have one full-time and one part time employee so it seems that I do not have to have a accident book? Surely I still have to record accidents though and take preventative measures. I have a fall from a ladder at the end of last year and had to take 2 weeks off work with a twisted knee. My own fault - could have been easily prevented if I had got my employee to foot it. Anyway am I now right in thinking that I have to report this to HSE?
