Looks like future landfill to me.
Andrew, go look at the Pellenc stuff imported by Etesia. We saw it at the Open Day they held for LJN. I believe Eco Gardens use it. Everyone who saw it was impressed. It's serious, professional kit. Admittedly the price is high, but they have a good ROI spreadsheet to show how long to be cost neutral.

Yeah i use a few pellenc tools - hedgetrimmer, blower and strimmer. Soon to add the C20 chainsaw and powered pruners i think. I love them but i dont rely solely on them. I have a 40cc husqy brushcutter, stihl HS81R and blower as thats what i had before buying the pellenc and its good to have a backup.
As well as not having to buy so much petrol i get the added benefits of less vibrations, noise, weight and zero emissions at point of use - thats all done by the power station which is much more efficient than a small 2 stroke engine.
I agree that the solar water butt pump is dead in the water.
