I have used it and it was useless. I did everything the manufactuer said. I sprayed once before planting and then again a few days after planting. A week later I sprayed again but alas everything was eaten to the ground.
I was very disappointed as was the client. The website has some impressive results but you can only go by your own experience.
Does anybody know how to rid rid of foxes?
We discovered and developed Grazers 9 years ago in the north of England for farm use - my background being in horticulture I wanted to see it work on as many different plants and situations as possible, I was very pleased with the results. We have been selling repeatedly to farmers and growers now for over 8 years .
It works by being absorbed systemically through the leaf of the growing plant, so works best from now through until early aut.
It is most effective on the young growth (which is the part most prone) and also had good results on more mature shrubs where they are growing healthily.
Being trace element based its totally safe to use and safe for the environment. It can be sprayed on ornamentals and edibles, actually being of benefit to the plant due its Calcium content.
Key points
Spray with knapsack or garden sprayer (not watering can)
Spray just so the leaf is wet
Spray plants whilst actively growing and healthy (plants already damaged or at risk from damage)
Spray new plants(more vulnerable to damage) twice 3 days apart before planting then again once planted to build it up within the plants system.
Some users recommend a double rate for deer damage though I still recommend starting with the basic rate.
Follow the instructions, check out the website and please feel free to contact me directly if you have any further queries.
Possible reasons for it not working: Use watering can (just runs off the leaf), spraying the soil or bark not the leaf, spraying in winter, mixing with other products (must be sprayed on its own). Often Grazers is applied as a last resort when there is little left to adhere to and its asking a lot to recover.
Hope this helps give you some confidence.
We have Peter Beales roses and Sam Youd from Tatton park amongst our testimonials in horticulture.
