Graham. Sympathy nearly did the same myself, don't know how effective a paint would be, probably make the damage even more visible? How about cutting out and filling in with turf?
the seed will germainate in 7 to 10 days is it worth trying to paint the dead area as it will still be noticeable
Better to just wait for the seed to germinate. A client of mine sprayed his bonfire site then walked back up the lawn. I counted 100 footsteps burnt off with Glypho on his feet. Too awkward to seed it all. It has all grown back in. So another warning to be careful when using sprayers.
We all make mistakes but grass is resilient and will begin to encroach back into the areas with the help of some re-seeding. You could always just tell the client that the lawn has caught Red Thread disease (it's a very common problem these days) but that it will recover in time... 🤥😇 🤣
good idea!! I'll put some grass sedd down as well. I'm surprised the Roundup did anything to the grass as it was just "straw"... just the weeds were green. We live and learn.
