Growing fine here in the North West. It did slow down a little while back when we had the really long hot and dry spell. But been growing strongly again for quite a while now
I'm mostly retired... But the 2 big gardens use robots and the bits that dont get cut by them havent needed cutting for about a month. I have one normal little housing estate house (friend of the wife's) that I mow - we literally left it a month - and while it was a bit shaggy, everything easily fitted into the green bin. That is WIltshire
I only cut my own lawn these days and just top it so it's stayed green and still needs topping fortnightly but customers gardens which are cut by lawn operatives , too short in my opinion at the customers request are brown and not been touched for six weeks .
Some signs of recovery after recent rain but patchy with weeds bolting to make seed here in North Yorkshire .
The lawns where I work are pretty much brown and crispy, with the odd patch of green where there's some shade. From a distance most look more like sand than grass.
Hardly any growth in Essex for a month on lawns that are not watered apart from a few weeds if you are lucky
I'm near Penrith, Cumbria and the grass is growing faster than ever.
