Grass and Lawn Treatments and the Current Wet Conditions. Is anything really effective?

The weather is wet again alas! But we are also experiencing very mild temperatures. The lawns are likely to take a long time to dry out plus the mild conditions affect the insects and diseases that thrive in wet and warm winters.
How are you treating your lawn to help with these conditions?

We supply a lot of groundsmen with seed and fertilisers and I want to give them the best advice. We advise overseeding on winter sports pitches to repair the damage of the football and rugby season. For Summer pitches; some need preparation and reseeding too - especially cricket outfields and wickets; plus sports greens may need treating too.

We need some prolonged dry weather to really help now, but what about the lingering effects of this Winter?

    Domestic lawn advice is totally different to sports pitch advice etc

    For a start, one is a business where demands are essentially, quite different

    What one can do compared to the other is different

    What one can afford to the other is very different

    What are you trying to advise and what market?
