  using google chrome browser no problems what so ever and very fast search results, no adsense ads appeared

  using firefox browser no problems and still very fast search results with 3 google adsense ads on top of the search results

  using internet explorer browser no problems and still very fast search results with 3 google adsense ads on top of the search results

  I think its a very worthwhile addition compared to the old site search which gave no results quite often plus its in a better position

  could it be added to every page within the top green band above the LJN logo?

  Ditto. Been trying it for last 15 mins.
  Works well in IE8. Very fast and much much more accurate with benefit of lots of results in the frame.
  Adverts appear at top and don't detract from reason for search.
  Far superior IMHO.
  Needs to go on Forum page with flashing neon lights to attract attention or a big 'use me' finger pointing at it

  I've been trying to develop a hack that allows the search across all pages but still keep the search box prominent.

  At the moment I can only get the desired look and feel right in its present position . If I add it above or below the banner it seems lost and if I add it to the sidebar it's slightly out of sight.

  I would bear in mind that over 50% of visitors come from a Google search engine anyway and if a member wants to search then it's not too hard a task to return to the front page first.

  Hi Phil, no probs and very quick on Safari browser. And seems more productive than old search facility and I don't think ads are a problem (although I really DO NOT WANT A BLINKING NABRU SOFA!!) Would be great if there was also room for it at least on the main forum page maybe in the green banner (the one that just says All Discussions 6327 or whatever)? Save alot of replica queries/posts...

  Gary - I'm using it on an iPad and it works ok ?
  ( just checked iPhone and that's ok as well )
  1-2 seconds loading and it pops up and is usable.
  
  Are you on IOS 5.0 ?
  
  You are right Chat won't work native on i devices but there are solutions for that.....

  Safari is clunky at times.......
  
  Something else strange I found, if buttons appear inoperative on a web page ( ie on LJN ) try turning device 90 deg and back again - basically changing from one orientation to another - and magically they work ....
