Are you set on one of those 3 mowers? If not I'd personally recommend a Stiga pro 55 which is 900 RRP

It's what I use and collects great in the wet and mulches perfectly in non soaking conditions.
However will all 3 of those mowers be serviced at the same place? Because good backup support should be taken in to account when buying something that you'll come to rely on as much as a mower.
They'd all be serviced at the same place, it's near me so very convenient, my uncle gets a discount as he is their main customer. I'm afraid they aren't a dealer of Stiga, thanks for the suggestions though.
roller , mulcher or light/durable ??
I would like a mulcher option, but not solely a mulching mower.
Not sure about roller, trying to understand the pros and cons of it.
Durable would be nice, but I'm not too fussed if it's a little heavier.
You need to ascertain from your client base if stripes are required or not...
I also appreciate that my recommendations are not in the list where you can get a discount but you should purchase the right equipment rather than machines which might be cheap!

Hi,
Another vote for the Stiga. Used Husqvarna and Artesia on a daily basis when working for Council and my Honda powered Stiga multiclip beats them hands down, especially in the wet.
Most retailers will give a discount off of a retail price, especially to trade customers.
Don't get a viking if its your only mower! We use them because they are light, pick up in wet, leave stripes etc etc BUT they are not designed for professional use and they will need repairs through the season.
They have a 12 month warranty but if its your only machine you can't afford for it to be off the road being fixed.
A 19 inch Honda wouldn't be a bad choice for medium sized gardens.
No experience of Stiga so can't comment.
We always use rollers for residential, look much better with stripes and you can mow right to the edge without the wheels falling over an edge and scalping the grass. Most home owners wouldn't have a roller so you're offering a cut that they couldn't achieve themselves.
If you can, split the budget and get both a roller and a 4 wheeler. Different tools for different jobs. Rollers give a lovely finish and easier to steer round beds, good for regular customers but not so good in the wet. 4 wheeler to deal with long, rough or wet stuff when you are called mid summer when it hasn't been touched all year. Variable speed drive is useful when you're in a hurry and conditions permit :) Good luck in your new venture !
