Good mid level Drop spreaders ?

Anyone recommend a trusty Drop spreader

Would be for tricky gardens , small areas , near beds etc -- a spare as such to run along side more expensive broadcast spreader

Guessing plus £100 - that will last reasonably well and will work well - calibration settings ok enough to do a fair job ? Not expecting it to be faultless

What about a hand operated rotary spreader (Scotts/ICL or Fuxtec) ?

are they good ? i always thought they looked a bit erratic?

in my case i need something they doesnt project so high - so ideally drop spreading as to not have chances of hitting raised ponds and other sensitives

drop spreaders are a nightmare for applying treatments - can't get accuracy, you either miss or overdose a small strip.

The hand spreaders are better. Where accuracy is paramount go liquid via knapsack.
