Good topic.
A couple of snippets that stand out:
"One in 12 Brits (8 per cent) place enough importance on their garden to hire a gardener, thereby avoiding the arguments."
"I imagine it would be expensive to get a professional in."
And this sums it up:
"One in seven - 15 per cent - say their dream garden would include a hot tub, while 16 per cent of men say a bigger BBQ would be essential."
I think it's fair to say that not everyone sees a garden the way a gardener does. To some it's a storage area, a scrapyard, a dog compund or even deliberately left wild as a haven for wildlife.
I believe this is going to be a boom area for those not too proud to take on quick, weekly sweep, mow and hoe. We have always taken this sort of work on, at a very reasonable rate, they become your bread and butter and often lead to other work.
