Gardening Projects..?

I was wondering if anyone on here could help me out...?

I am part of a Social enterprise based in Nottingham working with young adults with learning difficulties that has an off shoot of a gardening project. This is used for career and work opportunities for some of our young adults who love a good graft and have a bit of a knack in the garden! We offer all the gardening services a normal gardener would, but to ease our newer members i've been looking for some projects they can participate in (such as Nursing homes or working with Age UK to tidy up peoples gardens) without charging a fee, but so far have have no luck!

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or contacts that could help us out with finding some voluntary work for a newer participants in and around Nottinghamshire..?

    Your first point of call should be your local Community Volunteer Service or CVS. If you can't find it listed then contact your local council which should be able to supply you with the number. CVS's are charities that work with and for other local charities to find funding streams etc and may well know of local projects in need of you chap's skills. Be aware though that CRBs may be needed in some cases.
