Garden photography

We have always taken our garden portfolio photos for our website ourselves but we now have a large number of gardens that we have installed lighting in as part of our designs. We are keen to get evening shots of these but have struggled to produce anything up to standard. I have experimented around with long exposure and also taking them at dusk. 
Does anyone have any tips on this or know a good garden photographer!?
