I have certs. but don't own a chipper or tipper so im limited to small or medium trees.
I think customers like it as its providing a full service.
I would do just trees but im 45 and am realistic about climbing fast at my age :)
You must be psycic too Phil. You just gave almost exactly the reply that I was going to give.
Mxing tree work with garden maintenance works well I find. Much easier to fit the 2 together than trying to fit landscaping work in with the garden maintenance.
I'm more a commercial grounds maintenance business which does the odd tree work. I have insurance to cover me for such work as i do enough to justify the cost.
I have a small Greenmech CS100 chipper that i use a lot for my landscaping work which is also capable for Arb work.
For complicated arb work i will sub in a climber and maybe hire a larger chipper.
I do think they are compatible for simple Arb work and i do get a lot over lapping. Anything major or very complicated then leave it for the dedicated boys.
