I've never heard such rubbish. The roller will bend the blades of grass over laying them down to 'stripe' the lawn. The grass will bounce back up in a matter of hours I should think.of walking on it. Is it very mossy as this will cause the imprints?
I've never really noticed footprints left on a lawn - only when the grass had been left long.
Ask the client if they have any good ideas!
Hahaha brilliant idea!!
I'd ask the customer if they know of anywhere that teaches levitation! 🤣
Do you need to go on a diet lol??!!
Reminds me of the old joke “I don’t care who you are, you’re not walking on the water where I’m fishing”.
OMG, that's a new one on me! Maybe the grass has been 'topped' for too long and needs a good scarify. Hopefully the customer will be up for a renovation programme.
Can't say I've ever had that problem ... an answer is to have a ride-behind seat for, in my case!, considerably more rolling weight
:)
If you are walking behind aren't your feet are pushing the grass down the same as the roller does (i.e. "forwards")?
My stripes lasted ages (using Robomower now, no stripes) - the following spring it was still possible to detect them
even in a dry summer like 2018 (had changed to triple "Regency Stripes" by then)
Is it possible to cut the lawn by walking backwards so the roller covers your tracks . ?
As said it sounds like a very mossy lawn , such lawns also produce deep tram lines .
