It's slightly more expensive, but decathlons own brand of boots are excellent.
I've been wearing these for a few years now, only problem is the sole wears out a bit quicker than the rest of the boot! Still get about 9 months out of them though.

Unfortunately they don't ship to the channel islands, but will check Amazon for them as well.
Thanks
Oliver, we wear Grafters Ambush, non safety, waterproof , worn 7 days a week, treated with dubbin we can get around 9 months out of them, highish ankle , very comfortable with hardly any breaking in, used them for years wouldn't buy anyhing else, around £48 free delivery if you hunt around on the internet.
ejendals/jalas were very cheap on amazon a while back, filled my boots in my size literally, mostly safety trainers with aluminium toe cap which is totally un noticeable, they are usually over 100 pounds a pair with good reason, will last many years, was paying around 20 quid, i do not like a heavy boot for most types of work. Also worth looking at are shoes made for skateboarding
I would say safety boots are absolutely essential in our work. I wear DeWalt Challengers. I have worn them for years, replacing probably every 15 months. I do smear them in beeswax, mind.
Cofra or Haix. Worth getting good quality socks also. (I prefer Haix). These boots have composite toe protection.
cheers everyone will look into all of those.
Hi oliver ,
I use Caterpillar, they are expensive but You will get the year-year and a half out of them.. the most comfortable boot you will find in my opinion I wear them all year round too.
Best
Paul
I wear vans or dunlop wellies in beds/borders/lawns/hedges, Dickie's steels only if needed when using a bar lots etc, and saw boots for brushcutting/saw work.
If you get some decent steel toe caps you won't even notice the difference and it will save your toes one day. DeWalts are good and some are only £45 pair
