  i was advised to carry a fire-extinguisher by a health and safety advisor when i trained a youth on a lift'project scheme for gardening. he said i need one in case my 'mower' set on fire ! (ive never seen one set on fire since i was 7yrs old) now 35. but i thought it would be sensible to have a small one for any possiblity / maybe an electrical fault on my min-digger - but thats diesel ! i have a first-aid kit (for large wounds as chainsaw law states this)

  I have a basic first aid kit in my van and a fire extinguisher, and the other van has one in too, mind I dont know how complete it is, Ill check tomorow. Also I make sure atleast two people on site know how to get to the local hospital, just incase and we are on a mix of networks so there is nearly always some one with signal iwe have to call an abulance.
  
  I lernt the hard way, I didnt know were the nearest hospital was and done this, photo is two weeks after. If your skweemish you mite not want to look.

  Good post as this highlights areas which we tend to ignore have first aid kit but on reading this will need to get me a fire extinguisher, forgot about that one 1
