Hi Paul,
Turf grasses typically require very little P. Liquid fertilisers are rarely used for a lawn care service due to the poor longevity that they offer when compared to granular products. 'The best' will not exist unfortunately, it will be a case of what products fit into your annual programme to make up the desired levels of N P and K which you want to achieve.
Pricing - again for a list of reasons this isn't going to equate to an absolute figure. The best source of information for this would be the GreenThumb website where you can gain all of their pricing within their quote calculator. This does not mean it is the correct price for the product and service you are offering, and at a suitable level of profitability for you to grow, just maybe worth consideration.
The UKLCA has an exciting series of autumn webinars coming up October to December along with our Annual Conference in January - a 2 day in person event where there would be almost 100 members where the vast majority have already been through the start up phase.
Much like it has with myself, the modest investment would spare early mistakes, and give you key ideas surrounding marketing, product selection and pricing. The very open and helpful knowledge and experience within the group is a key source for any lawn care business should they choose to throw themselves into it.
If l can be of further help just shout.
Jack
