Fertilizer spreaders

I'm looking for recommendations for rotary spreaders for lawn fertilizer.  We've been using the Scotts Easygreen, but I'd like to use something more robust, ie. professional grade. The problem is that most of these seem to have a spread width around 3m, which doesn't work in small private gardens- the easygreen has a spread width around 1.2-1.5m which is perfect.  Does anyone know of something suitable?

TIA

Spyker HHS 100 - if you can find one in the UK - think we ended up importing our last ones from the US.

    • Thanks, but I'm not keen on the hand-held type- harder to get the right rate, which is OK if you're doing it yourself but harder to delegate!

  • Why not use a drop spreader, plenty of pro models out there, but pricy

Depends what fertilizer you are using - is not recommended best practice to put some slow release fertilizers through a drop spreader as it damages the coating and defeats the 'slow release' effect.
