Facing a block wall with slate paving

As the title suggests I'm going to face a 500mm and a 700mm high concrete block retaining wall with slate paving. I'm considering using an exterior tile adhesive to secure them to the wall, haunching them at the bottom with a normal bedding mix. The haunching will not be seen.Can anyone recommend an adhesive or suggest any alternative methods?Simon @ The Perfumed Garden
