About the Landscape Juice Network

Founded in 2008. The Landscape Juice Network (LJN) is the largest and fastest growing professional landscaping and horticultural association in the United Kingdom.

LJN's professional business forum is unrivalled and open to anyone within within the UK landscape industry

LJN's Business Objectives Group (BOG) is for any Pro serious about building their business.

For the researching visitor there's a wealth of landscaping ideas, garden design ideas, lawn advice tips and advice about garden maintenance.

The client has a nature walk, part of a Local Nature Reserve in Wimbledon, which requires landscaping work to provide a .5M deep winter pond (liner provided) and small wildflower meadow.

They have a small pot of funds.

The site is mostly bramble, michealmas daisy and goldenrod growing on old railway ballast and the like. This needs grubbing up and re-distributing to provide a level, low nutrient surface suitable for wildflower turf to establish on. Access is not easy and it is probable that you would need a minidigger.

Microbee is providing Ecological and Environmental advice pro-bono on this project so we have no finacial stake in this.

However it would provide an opportunity for a local business to work alongside us and the local authority as well as earn a few shekels and be in the frame for further works.

  • I've forwarded a few emais from interested people to the Treasurer of the Residents Association that has raised funds for the project.

I'll chase him up next week abd see where he's got to with it.

Meanwhile thanks Phil for making this a featured discussion. I put it up because I know how hard it is to break into some areas of business and make connections. Its a chance perhaps for some of the start up businesses to add something different to their skill-set
