European law could change Britain's gardens forever

New regulations will dramatically cut the range of plants available in our nurseries and garden centres, argues Graham Spencer

The European Commission is planning to add new regulation to the trade in garden plants. This is part of a process to replace a mishmash of existing regulations and directives with fewer new laws. But the proposals include extended powers, bringing new regulation to ornamental horticulture that will drastically reduce the range of plants available in the trade.

    Ask yourself what the EU electives know about hort and then sit back with a pint and ask yourself what you know and then sit in wonder as you ask yourself the question how much damage could I do if you had the power.

    Politico et la pay scale depends upon their self created empires, it's rare to see them cut back but not true of the alternative. Do they care? No because they have a golden handshake awaiting (they are massively rewarded, regardless of their performance) but for you this might be the reality, if you stuff up.
