I assume far to late a reply but I wouldn't worry about battery yet it's got a long way to go before it will replace petrol. I'm just looking at a 53 pro I've always had pro51k but thinking of going on to 53 pros I wondered if you have had any troubles or are they just as bomb proof as the pro 51?
Wouldn't suit every business but am in my 7th season now of using Bosch Pro GRA53 battery mowers, I do mixed gardening so don't mow all day, every day but have enough battery packs for this model for approximately 6 hours run time, costs very little to run, great build quality, no servicing and utterly reliable. Would be the first to admit, hopeless at cutting long wet grass short, but on my regular jobs it's a dream to use. I have 3 of the actual mowers, one is set up as a mulching machine, the other for bagging and the 3rd as a spare, if ever it were needed. They were a bit ahead of their time really and got discontinued, so bought mine at a massive discount. That's why I ended up with 3 mowers for the price of 1. And have picked up more batteries as I went along. They take 2 large 6Ah 36 Volt packs at once and some of them have been recharged many hundreds of times with no noticeable loss in performance. I got deals on all the batteries as well as the list price on those was prohibitive. One of the best things I ever bought
