is this machine fitted with a single or twin cylinder engine ?
if it's a twin then it could be that a cap has managed to pop off one side and your only running one one cylinder.
also when did this happen ?
was it out of the blue or after some other event like service etc
and dose the machine sound any differnt to before and is there smoke or back fireing ?
also the service light will go out in about 2 hours time by its self.
Not sure what cylinder and dose not smoke. It did backfire once last week but has not since. It dose not sound rough just sounds flat if you know what i mean!

Its a twin and you dont need an Etesia dealer to look at, any mower shop can fix it. Surely you know how to get to the engine, lift the bonnet and count how many ht leads and plugs there is ?. Take the plugs out and give them a clean and check they are not duff before taking to a shop to check it out if the problem is still there. Just check all the basic stuff first. Plugs, fuel filter, ht leads and air filter.
