    Yes, need to disengage hydrostatic drive. Lift grass box, look at bottom of rear plate at back of machine, small horizontal lever at bottom disengages drive.

    You could jump it off your van if you can get close enough? Just connect the leads don't start the van as the alternator is too powerful for the mower batteries.

    Not always an easy task due to safety interlocks on seat base.<br />

    You need to really install a set of short fly leads from Battery to o/s of frame and use a Rally car style connector socket &amp; plug
