Hi all, unfortunately for me the time has come to change my ride on lawnmower, it would be in use for 3 long days per week. I am currently using a kubota g21 low dump. Collecting the grass is important to me. I can get a new kubota with high dump for just over 11k. I wouldn't have considered a petrol alternative usually but I did come across a few etesias at my local dealer... he has a 2wd and a 4wd buffalo which have got me thinking, however, I can't understand why they seem so expensive. As they are both around 5k dearer than a new kubota and I just can't figure out what the reason is as I thought the diesel machine would have been a better machine and also easier to run.
so I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on any of these mowers and do they know what their niche is. An idea of how much fuel the use usually would also be appreciated if anyone is as obsessive as me when it comes to their fuel bill.
I have borrowed a friends petrol machine before an it has a v-twin briggs engine and it uses around 4litres of petrol per hour. If the etesias are similar they would be much more expensive to run I think than a diesel kubota.
thanks in advance
