Hi all have just been asked to give estimates on what would be my biggest jobs to date.First is cutting 300 m of beech hedge, nice and low at 1 m h, 1 m w. does £1 per metre sound way off?Second is removal of an earth bank equating to 33 m cube, however drainage is a real issue on the site as is access, to be honest I'm tempted to walk from this one as the property is 5 m from the bank to be removed, then a retaining wall to be erected and drainage to be installed. I am fully insured but think it MIT be a bit too big (only trading for a month!)Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciatedNiall Campbell.

    If your unsure I would probably steer clear of the ground works as there is more to go wrong.

    The hedge sounds easy enough though.

    The hedging element is nice and easy if you have the right kit, stay away from the ground works if your unsure about doing it.

    Sounds like a juicy one for a landscaping firm that you could pass the lead on to, maybe there's someone on LJN in your neck of the woods?
