  • In my experience, camon scarifiers have fixed or swinging blades, or spring rake swappable cartridges.  I don't think Eliet have this.   You can dethatch perfectly well with blades though.  (Hollow tines and solid tines are on aerators). 

    • The springs on the 'rake' attachment are called spring tines, so he's right about that!

    No there's no spring tines for the eliet 

    best thing to do is order a set of double cut blades for a eliet 450 

    and take the 3mm fixed blades of your reel and put the 1.5mm

    blades on to your reel it will do a cracking job....

    p.s you'll have around 4 blades spare as the 450 reel is a bit longer...
