elderly customers passed away

i received this e-mail the other day :

Dear Robin
I'm writing to let you know that April sadly died last week,
peacefully at a nursing home. She was 91.

A service to celebrate April's life will be held on Friday Oct 11th
at 2 pm at St Margaret's Church, Moreton Say, Market Drayton, Shropshire TF9
3RS, and refreshments in the Clive Hall just opposite afterwards

    Aah. I suppose it's inevitable at some point for us as the elderly make up a good portion of maintenance clients. A lady I worked for for a year (spritely as anything) died early this year and it's a strange feeling when I drive past the house, now up for sale.

    I used to have loads of elderly customers as I did work recommended by age concern... Obviously they have died over time, they have been replaced. We're all getting old. Shame as you do get used to the gardens in questions.

    I had one elderly customer for whom I'd been doing her garden for 15+ years.... left me £500 in her will which I was very touched by.
