I use the Honda version (which is the same as the ego) with a 4amp hour battery and I get around 2 days use from domestic gardens which equates to around a couple of hours give or take a wee bit, The angle of the head is not perfect but the machine itself is very good. Mine only has the normal head and it is just fine and quite quick to replace the line. I have used it in some heavy strimming (brambles, nettles etc) and it does the job. It gets more use than my stihl kombi engines.
When I got my battery for the strimmer I went for the 5ah as it was the same weight as the 4 but with the extra capacity. Great for light edging work and domestic gardens but have found the customer service a bit lacking!

We have a line trimmer which we got free when we bought the mower, we only have the 7.5mbatteries and if they are working flat out on long grass last a couple of hours but in normal use last days! We had a battery fail, and they replaced no problem.
thanks for responses. In the main, pretty positive then
