Wolf Garten has done well for me.

The wolf one, I have had for 5 years big moon and good stands for your foot.
Have gone through several which look promising but fail miserably , wobbly handles , wobbly blades , dowel pegs and rivets working loose they never seem fit for purpose .
Yet another plus for the wolf garten its proved the most efficient and reliable so far

seriously the best by far I've ever used, I just sharpen occasionally... solid structure and no thin bits of metal holding the half moon to the metal frame. I've pushed hard through some stones when ending turf and it doesn't cause it to bend or snap.
With inlaid paving in a lawn, I find it best to just use a strimmer on its side to follow the paving edge..... really quick and you can get a prefect line along the paving edge....... unless it's curved of course but then a half-moon won't be much better.
Another vote for Wolf Garten from me.
Thanks all for the response.
I have ordered the wolf-garten although needed the D handle as well. Out of stock at most places for some strange reason (I wonder what that may be) so a 14 day wait.
Cheers Neil
My half moon has just arrived, should this be flush?? It looks as tho it's already bent
