So the Archbishop thinks the NT/Cadbury lack of Easter mentions "spits on Cadbury's grave".Hands up who knows:

1. What is the meaning of Easter

2. Why do we have eggs

3. Why chocolate eggs

    Easter is celebrating the resurrection of Christ I think the red eggs represent the blood of Christ when he was crucified

    as for the chocolate eggs I think its a sales gimmick and a expensive way to buy chocolate

    Easter similar to Christmas is a pagan festival.  I think Easter was a fertility festival and Eostre.

    I think the Eggs are to with spring, new growth, baby bunnies & birds after the winter.
