I am interested in comfy ear defenders. I have used some horrible things that give you very sore ears after an hour or so.
Would not be without these, very comfy and sounds as well.

Very comfy, last for ages as long as you don't store them in direct sunlight on the dashboard of a van!
optime 3 as i had my others with batteries/push to talk stolen with blower : new ones are lighter though :)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Peltor-Optime-Premium-Headband-Muffs/dp/B00... bargain . necessary as you WILL go deaf without them ...
Peltor 3`s. Great defenders and comfy too.
I hope you get on with them as well as I do! Don't forget to regularly check the arms as they can get longer over time - just push them back in to adjust!

Interesting recommendations here - I shall look into getting a set of the Peltor's - a retailer who sells them in my area wanted twice the Amazon price - I shall certainly need some for working with my diesel ride on, that Mitsubishi two cylinder engine is NOISY...
Perhaps we as gardeners/landscapers don't protect our hearing as much as we OUGHT sometimes!
