Looks lovely............. not sure why "pricing too cheap" would put people off.... thought it would do the opposite. I suspect it's to do with the Covid putting customers off getting anything done.
agreed
for me £180/200 job as your sanding too
in May decided to buy a £100 ish one
just to wash me van I had to wait 4 weeks
as when I called the shop to ask where my order
was he replied since the lock down we've sold out
of all makes as the weather is good and nearly
everyone is at home using them. So I'd say
it's covid not your prices....p,s looks good
Hi I didn't see first pic for me that's worth £150
but the other I'd say £180/200 great job
In the winter, I pressure wash my regulars customers' drive, paths and decking with my Karcher washer. I don't do the block paving ones. As they are my regulars, I just charge my ordinary day rates though I did have a spin off as a one off job which I charged £85 for a couple hours work to clean the concrete driveway.
You have certainly done a good job using a proper pressure washer as well. I think there's competition and the fact that people are staying at home due to Covid restrictions and killing time by doing all those little jobs that never get done in normal times.
ditto = slippy paths and elderly folk don't mix well
I always find it interesting that the dirt/algae etc never seems to form under where a car is regularly parked..... even when the car is off the drive during the day. ..... you can see it in the third picture.
Consider advertising it as a seperate business to your gardening business instead of an add on service .
I find existing customers are interested once informed but i think other people looking for their drive cleaning tend to be looking at dedicated businesses , they dont always associate drive cleaning with gardening .
The after pictures look great well worth the money .
what method of de weeding do you use ?
Hi John thanks for the comment thats actually quite interesting i might do that just to see the outcome. We use an industrial strength weed killer mixed with water (quantities depend on situation etc) and then spray it on using a pressure sprayer.
Yes I agree with the above
Set it up as a different company.
