Trying to find suppliers of non usual clippable shrubs / topiary. Mainly balls, domes,
Have several clients needing slow growing shrubs that we can clip / keep formed that dont want any more of the usual Yew/Box/Laurel/Lavender/Hebe etc etc And who wouldnt like the Holly options / Euonymus etc
Seems there are now options such as Osmanthus Burkwoodii coming through but most the prices im getting so far seem a bit high
Also seems that people are successfully clipping Pittosporum tenifolium types such as 'Golf Ball' and 'Tom Thumb' but struggling to find any suppliers offering them at a decent size 50-100cm or already pruned

The purple 'tom thumb' seems perfect but most my usual suppliers coming up blank
Anyone got any supplier recomendations or alternative topiary plants ideas im not thinking of ?
Most these clients arent keen to wait 4 years for something to look good - so need to be in goodish present shape and in some cases multiples of 10

cheers for the reminder ! -- used to go there years ago -- looks like they have changed quite a lot and down to one nursery ?
Where are you based Dan?
south west -- nearing bristol
although these days transport costs can be acceptable so it doesnt have to be directly local
Sorry can't help with suppliers in that area Dan-I'm Herts/Bucks.
thanks -- will have a look
Try http://hedgesdirect.co.uk/ and https://www.paramountplants.co.uk/
I hope you find a good alternative to the usual selection.
Thanks -- Paramount plants looks interesting
