Design business case study

I am a second year RHS MHort student looking for a design business that I could use as a case study for my current assignment. My assignment is to create a business development model for my own business, which is maintenance, and develop it into a design business. So I am looking for a design business which has done the same - succesfully moved from maintenance to design. There would be no need for questioning or to disclose any personal information. It would simply be a pointer towards your website. The sort of business I am looking for could be currently doing both design and maintenance and/or design and build. I am really interested to hear from anyone who has succesfully taken this development strategy. Thanks!
