Decking oil - how long does it preserve the natural colour of the wood?

We are oiling a client's Balau deck as she likes the natural colour of the wood as new rather than silvered. Does anyone know approximately how long the wood will retain is colour providing the deck is re-oiled yearly.

We are using Sadolin Decking Oil.

    i have a client whose deck I oil every year and it preserves the colour well.
