On one of our vans ( a renault Trafic - Same van, but different ICE I think.) we found there was a hidden aux option on menu and std ISO connector on rear that could be used via lead available of eBay to connect and iPhone for play back and charge it.

Damn staff, always want to listen to things I don't want to! :)
Having said that, I can't get BBC Radio 6 in any of my vehicles!
i have a pure highway with externall areal in my 7.5 tonner and 1 in my discovery, independent unit form the car radio, but it transmits through car radio, would not be without it, needs external areal to work weel but its 19 quid well spent, picks up fine form london to east anglia no probs, they are about 80 quid for the unit and 20 for areal
I'm just going to get a new one. Had one in my last van. Reception generally good in urban areas, but patchy in the sticks and on the motorways. Can't stand listening to anything other than BBC6 and Test match special. Good deals in Halfords the other day - will probably go for a new head unit as the plug in ones are a bit clumsy and not much cheaper now. Ariel leads always dangle around the dash unless you have the time to take the whole dash apart.
I want one too ,best get over and check out halfords
The one we saw (others available):

Agree, Agros etc do the same, but I think £99 is good (forgotting the sales spin) to get a radio, CD, DAB & Iphone connectuvity....and lots of fancy lights
Ay, those were the days.... when I were a lad we 'ad to pay £200-300 for a decent unit. In them days we 'ad valves and glowing lights and used to use them as heaters when the heater matrix in the Mini sprung a leak....lol
