  • Hello Graeme i live in south Manchester. I stpped using them a long time ago i drop my waste at cheadle skip hire but i know a few bid skip yards let you tip alot cheaper.

It seems to me that the NW of England is one of the hardest places to dispose of green waste in an affordable manor! I have an awful time explaining to clients the costs and why Cheshire don’t allow any trade waste at their sites even if you pay.

Hi Jon, you tried this place?  www.cheshiregreenwaste.co.uk/

We have the same problem as you, being based in South Warrington.  Costs are prohibitive and few places take green waste.  Richard at CGW is good to work with and the costs seem ok for us.  We have a crew van so not as big in the back as a regular LWB but taking 5/6 full builders bags has cost us £30 + vat.

I’ll take a look thanks. Staffordshire tips have just started a scheme where sole traders can pay to tip their waste wish more places would do this. Closest to me is leek though and it is a fair old trip across the hills.
