  • Didn't think Costco membership was ever £71.......... I suspect it's one of those Groupon scams............ trade membership is £26.40 these days. Ordinary membership £33.60.   I used to be a member years ago but had to abandon it as the missus was spending a fortune on things we didn't need:) The mower looks a very good price though.

    • The executive trade membership is £70 and you receive 3% back on your spend in the form of a voucher at the end of the year

That is why it is a good deal with this offer

costco wouldn't be involved if it was a scam

      • Perhaps "scam" was a bit harsh:)   The thing I've noticed with Groupon and Wowcher...........  the deals are usually pushing something a business can't shift or just isn't doing well with. You can easily end up buying something that you really didn't need or even want that much so the "bargain" really doesn't save you much... actually costs you money.  The Costco "executive" membership is an example...........  you get the card at a fair price, realise you get 2% back on purchases at the end of the year so you end up going there and buying loads of stuff that you wouldn't normally buy, just to get your 2% back.  You're then "hooked" on the Executive membership and carry it on at the full price the following years.  Perhaps I shouldn't be so cynical!!.
