I've had quite a complex deck installed involving curved steps. Used Millboard solid boards. Very easy to cut and work with. The screws completely disappear from view when they're sunk a few mms down, the top just closes in around the screwhead. Good grip.... no slipperiness at all. Where it cuts, looks the same colour so no problem there. Was used to "clad" the side of the decking frame at one point and looked fine. Don't know how it will weather though it has a long guarantee. They do quite a few different finishes including hardwood though we had something called driftwood. They also do a course grain version of the various finishes.
