Hi, maybe the Stihl 765V ? 63Cm cutting width. Mulching kit is available. If it's anything like their slightly smaller battery models that I use then it will be a very capable machine. I run only battery lawnmowers for several years now. All my lawns are domestic sized of up to about 2 hours of mowing. For reference, a petrol one used to take the same amount of time to complete the same task. Largest width machines I have are Bosch Professional 53Cm from 2016. Which are long discontinued. But still work good as new. Got one set up as a dedicated mulching machine and another for collecting. One of the best things I ever bought, and a massive discount at the time. But the Stihl's perform better than the Bosch Pro when trying to cut wet or long grass
I like the fact that Stihl have fitted caster wheels on the front. Looks like it would be great getting around tree rings and alike. Basically a little walk behind zero turn 😂.
Biggest down side is the setup cost with the battery system. Am I right in saying that's the same batter as you use on the back pack for the blowers. Multiple usage at least if that's the case
yes undoubtedly seems a bit pricey, that up front investment begins to pay off from day one, in greatly reduced running and servicing costs of course ... the back pack battery can be used with their other machines yes ... claimed run time with the AR3000L pack is not even an hour and a half but that would indicate it's a powerful machine and no compromise has been made to sacrifice cutting performance simply for the sake of making it go further, as it were
A battery mower won't be able to do everything you are likely to come across on commercial sites
The amount of batteries you will need is staggering, i considered adding one to supplement my 22" petrol mower but it just doesn't make good business sense when I can buy another Professional petrol for less money than a body only battery mower
I love battery hand tools but the mowers just aren't there yet
I don't think battery lawn mowers are there yet.
Great if you've got poor access steps and such.
Al300 when I last looked were £1600. Must cost under £2 for petrol use time equivalence. Nor are they anywhere near as powerful. Same with blowers.
Battery hedge cutters they're great.
Cheers for the input all
