Other people charge what is required to make a profit that they are happy with from the job. Work out your overheads add on your desired profit and there you go. In the BOG people are more likely to be open with their answers.
Thanks also Gary
Thanks Seth, i have been doing that, just thought i would ask.
Try this
i cut a 5 acre site with a iseki 48 inch diesel mower and that takes around 5 hours
Seth, for what it's worth, get yourself into maintenance as well as hard landscaping and don't be scared to take on the odd small garden. They are worth their weight in gold. There are so many times on project jobs, where someone is a spare part for a couple of hours - just send them off to cut some grass and it's 30 quid of free money.
We are now completely maintenance based and the business virtually runs itself.
Hi Steve,
Congrats on potentially landing some extra work. It's likely that you're already covered, but remember if you're adding additional services to your business, you might want to alert your insurer just in case?
Last thing you'd want happening is a a claimable incident happening whilst doing the maintenance work and finding out you're not covered :)
