Cobra mower.

Hi, I'm looking into mowers for next year( or maybe finishing off this year, grass is still growing here in notts) and I have come across the Cobra m53sph. Looks to be very similar to the lawnflite/ honda equivalents. Looking on here for research but most discussions are about the roller models which seem to have gearbox issues, however I am in the market for a 4 wheeler. Anyone on here any experience of these 4 wheel machines either standard or pro model. Also is there the option to mulch or are they just a bagger/ cut and drop machine.

Kind regards, Martin.

  • Can't go wrong with a Japanese machine, they are all similar lawnfilte / danarm / cobra / kubota . According to lawnfilte website they is a optional kit for mulching so it should fit all of them . We got an Orec this year similar to the others not sure if they are made my Kaaz like all the others but its brilliant bit on the heavy side absolutely destroys the etesias we have for collecting wet grass its better than the danarm roller mower with the engine turned up. So I put the Orec GR537pro into consideration aswell .

    • Hi, thanks for the info. Spoke to my dealer he says he can get a mulch kit for the cobra. I'm going to save the pennies over winter and treat myself ready for next year!
