I'll offer prices "from" £3 as well. Just like certain airlines will fly you "from £1".....
.
Self loading cargo I think is the phrase.
Don't forget the fuel surcharge, the charge for collecting the cuttings, let alone moving them.
Jesus, I couldn't put the mower into the trailer for £3, let alone start the van, lol
we have one of these lawns cut from £3.00 local to me. Has it sign written on his van. John Pugh (ex member) a few years back brought this up. The customers taking up this offer, are not the sort of cutomer I want anyway.
Joking aside, My mum used to pay a guy 50p to cut her lawn about 20 years ago. It was about 2x2 metres, and he was next door anyway, so it was literally a few seconds work. She now has to pay nearer £7 per hour for her gardener and moans all the time, I'm glad I'm 300 miles from that market!
Also for those of you not familiar with northern ireland's geography its a 30 minute drive between some of the places he listed.
Maybe i should use him as a sub-contractor?
I saw someone else locally on gumtree offering free tree surgery for the firewood. Watch yourself Chris!
This is quite normal in eastern europe and i would hazard a guess many other areas of the world too.

This is also common around my area. The only difference is that the job always turns out to be more complicated once they've finished, and now it's going to be £300. They can transport you to the cashpoint for your added convenience. :-(
