Chat has become a very strong feature of LJN. Most evenings.
Ning don't provide chat as a default on Ning v3.00. It's apaid-for service that we've had to subscribe to to maintain continuity. However, Recent site changes have resulted in a slightly different chat layout. Some members have found it confusing.
One of the main differences (unlike before) is that members have to physically enter the main room rather than just logging in to chat and just being there. The grey bar on the bottom is where you'll normally find chat residing. The main room has been pushed to the far left of this bar so it's not immediately obvious it's there.
I've added a link on the menu bar. It's only visible to logged-in members and chat can only be viewed by logged-in members (not the general public or casual browsers).
